... them out of the woods?

Our picnic was delicious but couldn’t have been that good because no bears turned up! After lunch we split up as Ness and I wanted to do the Mirror Lake walk whilst my parents opted for a meander towards Vernal Falls.

Yo-Yo Yosemite

A travel blog entry by ashlyn_rebekah on Sep 27, 2014

... Also just after Vernal Falls, the paths are sandy and/or rocky, the second half of the trek is practically just rocks, and I found myself climbing using all fours just to get to the top! I actually had a really fun time though, and it felt great to be outdoors and moving around, rather than sitting in a van all day. The views were also pretty spectacular too!!

We had a little photo and snack break when we reached the top of Nevada Falls, before starting down ...
