... however, we arrived (at about 1830, so it has been a very long day) and it is a very swish place indeed, so we need to take full advantage of our stay in Yosemite!
No, there has been no sign of Yogi so far...
...and yes, they did open the SR120, so we could have driven straight here through Yosemite, but actually I would not have missed that drive on the 4 for anything because, as they say here, "it was awesome."
And it actually was.
... with a glass of wine was bliss. Could it get any better? Well yes actually.
Once we had finished eating it was time to fill the tub! Chris and I got changed and got in the spa bath together, we put the bubbles on and it heaven. We sat in the spa bath drinking our wine and it was so luxurious. Unfortunately we had to leave it to give Rich a chance to enjoy it to.
So now we are chilling before bed and the journey to Anaheim.

We're done with the final prep work and planning. We will drive down to LA on Tuesday with Tom & Marianne and spend the night at Carl & Donna's before the 6 of us head to LAX for our long flight to Anchorage and connecting flight into Fairbanks on Wednesday. I will try to post daily so that everyone can follow our adventures as they come.
