Took some imaginative use of clothing to warm up but as you can see on the photos all items were used.
Great food again and some black market wood and we were set up.
James TR did a final round up talk about how everything is more complicated than it seems and attempted a star talk but the smoke in the atmosphere limited our view.
Tom the fire maker made all good and we were snug in our tent.
Yosemite National Park This was never really part of our route until a few weeks prior - so many people had told us about here and how it was not to be missed! So we hired a car in Vegas and started the drive towards San Francisco. (Must admit I was a little nervous about driving on the 'wrong' side of the road) The first day was mostly just driving through the mountains but the views were amazing! ... track anyway. Even though we had to share Yosemite with the Memorial Day weekend warriors, it was still undoubtedly one of the most memorable places we have visited. I guess that's why everyone else was there too. Tomorrow we head to a motel and look forward to not having to line up for a shower.
