... Las Vegas. We were quite disappointed in the hotel; you can read my review of the motel if you want to know more than that.

Though the town of Mariposa is tiny, we enjoyed a nice supper at the Sugar Pine Café, a small diner-style restaurant. Supper was good, and we took home a delicious homemade blueberry scone to share with our evening tea for dessert.

We leave early (around 8am) tomorrow morning for Yosemite!

Yosemite valley was absolutely packed with tourists. Despite picking through large volumes of people we still managed to have a good time. And as we moved towards the sequoias on the Southern part of Yosemite the numbers of tourists gradually decreased. One part of the journey we didn't see ...
