So we left Salisbury for a trip which Miss Google of the maps said would take about 4 hours, this turned out to be wildly optimistic, we left at 9 and didn't get in to Penzance until 5 (although we did stop in Devon for Devonshire tea and visit the Dartmoor zoo on the way). The countryside is so picturesque and we got to drive some properly narrow country lanes bordered by hedgerows. Linda, I've put in a photo for you of a very ...

I cannot believe that in just a few days I will be heading off for my challenge with Homeless International, in Nepal to build better homes. As I stuff all my necessary belongings into my tiny rucksack, it seems crazy to be packing sunscreen whilst a squalling gale rages outside. A fantastic week with Rod and Jude. Great to catch up with Mike and Barbara and Maesy. The weather was great considering the time of the year albeit misty in the mornings. We had a couple of exhilarating sessions body boarding and a lovely walk from Zennor back to St Ives although can't say I liked the cows!! Journey back to Bristol was good and it was lovely to see Mr. Crofts in Porth just outside ...

but not only because of that though… Traveling on my own for the first time takes a little getting used to. But the bright side is it took just a few minutes for me :) because when i got off the bus i got picked up by the owners (duncan and claire) of the hostel straight away. they set me up with: where to surf, meeting new people, telling me whats on and welcoming me in the home.

... down onto a beautiful beach where we played around and skimmed stones. By now we all were rather tired and a drink in a local pub was much needed. Quenched we headed back trying to keep joey smiling and persuade him to keep moving. Eventually we made it back and got in the car excited about having a little snooze in the car. Mum managed to whip up a feast and we scoffed it down before playing a few competitive rounds of ...
