Having lost some sleep overnight worrying about how to best proceed, I awoke with what I consider to have been a great decision. Now the pressure is off of trying to cover every kilometre with our footsteps I decided we should simply walk off from our hotel in Carnan Downs rather than returning the few kilometres to Ponsanooth.
