      ... too cold where every body part hurt so we called it quits early. We found out that Heavenly closed early too because of the conditions. Our plan was to take Jalen to see fireworks at Heavenly village on NYE but we cut the trip short and left NYE because of the horrible weather. It is way to cold, highs of 18.       I had a quiet day today. Willie had some meetings so I read by the pool. Tonight we went to a College American Football Game between Nevada University ( known as The Wolf Pack and Washington State University ( The Cougars). It is such a slow game! It started at 7.30 and finished just before 11 with Nevada winning 24-13. Just as well we were wearing Nevada T Shirts!       Once again, we are so very grateful for the opportunity we were given to attend this conference!! It was truly an inspiring event! We learned the best possible strategies for helping our students...especially those who struggle to learn in the traditional classroom environment. We can't wait to start implementing some of our new strategies in a few weeks!

      Woke up to rain. It was so peaceful as no cars were driving by, we were in the middle of no where, and there was walking to get done. Dressed, packed the ruck sacks and headed down for breakfast which consisted of bread, jam, butter, and coffee. A good filling breakfast to fill up for the trek ahead.
