    ... for dinner. They were having a crate race at the time and it was fun to see the kids race across the lobster crates in the water. Most of them didn’t make it more than a handful of crates, but there was one little girl who ran back and forth 10 times without falling in. We are thinking this would be fun to build on our pond for Odin and Noah to try.

    ... stopped at a roadside stand and bought Maine wild blueberries. They are delicious. We also bought some fresh strawberries. I plan on making some shortcake tomorrow.

    ... a Chinese soap downloaded onto my iPad so I enjoyed the chance to watch it :-) We left the room around 2 to further our exploration.     ... s interesting that this place started to have more people starting yesterday. It seems that Monday and Tuesday are the "weekend" here - nice restaurants such as Salt and Haven are not open Monday and Tuesday even in the high season July and August. Things seem to start happening on Wednesday through the weekend.

    This was the perfect day trip (aside from the sea-sickening ferry ride over). We hiked around the coast and sea cliffs; it was breathtaking. We saw a ship wreck and just enjoyed the views.
