This morning we are leaving the Andermans. We order a taxi for 10.30am, have one final swing on the hammock and say goodbye to the resort owners and staff, including the guard dog :-) Our taxi speeds us to the airport, the driver ignoring all road rules on the way including constant chit chatting on his mobile. ... asking people on the street for directions myself - we'd been going round in circles for about 20 minutes!! And, the funniest (or should I say - infuriating) thing is, that whenever I go to pay, they always hand me my change short of 20-30 rupees. On questioning, it's always a case of 'yes miss, 150 to here, 30 more for drive round'. DRIVE ROUND?!?! You're the one who got f^$cking lost!! They don't get that however, no matter how I try to explain the concept to them. ...
