The guide was telling us about the rocks and mountains, they often have huge land slides were the whole vista changes shape. They have also had two big floods through the park, one the previous year where it would have been well over our heads.

We stayed instead at the KOA campground outside the park with a pool, basketball net, caboose full of old arcade games, and no bears! We did have a great time at the campground and find that KOA's in general are a good family orientated place to stay. We spent a lot of time there hanging out at the playground and shooting ...
