    On November 11, 2014, we will be leaving Holland, MI and going to Bluefields, Nicaragua to stay for 7 weeks with our friends, RCA missionaries Adrian and Bernardeth Kelly-Bobb. Adrian is a pastor and Bernardeth is a medical doctor. We will be helping in their daily feeding program for 120 children that live in the slums of Bluefields. We will also be working at 2 group homes; 1 for adolescent boys and another for adolescent ...

    In a couple of hours we'll be leaving Holland to begin the first leg of our journey. Somehow leaving on September 11 feels appropriate because, as tragic as it was, this day above all others reminds me of the strength and courage of Americans, both now and in those early days of the founding of the original colonies.

    I can't even believe it's August! So much has gone on in the past few weeks that I don't know where to begin! The babies are over 4 months old already (I don't even want to talk about it...), I turned 32 (although I pretend to be 29), the boys rode on their first plane ride to Michigan, we saw family and friends, celebrated Michaele and Rick's 35th wedding anniversary, I slept 7 straight hours which I hadn't done in 6 ...
