... windy narrow 2 way road with black ice Andrew genuinely flinched a few times as it was difficult to gauge optimal position in the lane with oncoming traffic so close. Something about rocky barriers and drifting cars (not mine most the time) gave Andrew sweaty palms. ... more like birds. Could also hear Woodpeckers, but didnt manage to see one. One hour further on and we reached Glacier Point. I was hoping it was worth the drive since it added an hour to our driving today. It was! Amazing views, and you could see the 3214 feet down into the vallley floor where we were staying the night. Long way down! Explored the valley floor by free shuttle and some more footwork. Didn't see any bears, mountain lions or bobcats, not even any deer :( Quite a few ...

Left Armagosa by about 8am. Gav and I are confident that the sheets had not been changed. I was wishing I had planted something in the bottom of the sheets when we first went in the room and found it unmade. Gav ended up sleeping in his clothes incase they hadn't been changed. They were paper thin anyway and just a weird hotel.
