Since our flight to Abu Dhabi did not leave until around 22:00, I arranged for a 14:30 checkout from the hotel. About that time, we had a taxi pick us up for our ride to the airport. Not too long before leaving, I checked the airline, Etihad, website for baggage weight restrictions. I thought I saw our bags could weigh 25kg each. When I weighed them, all four weighed in at just less than 49 pounds, well within the limit. ...

I spent a relaxing morning visiting the fine shops in Chevy Chase. ..... Bloomingdales .... Saks Fifth Avenue etc. Then it's time for a quick shower and I check out. Lord only knows when I will be back. Happy Yuhannet picks us up on time as usual, but as Mr Goodman is no longer travelling with us Yuhannet didn't have a cool box full of beer ..... That Goody is such a cheeky bugger. I had a little chat with Yuhannet about Turkey, but my travelling companion ...

... went into work from 8am - 10am, to brief on some information on my new project then said my goodbyes and finished moving the remainder of my things. I finished the move and headed straight to check in at the airport at 5pm and then meet the family for dinner at 540pm and was back at the airport at 7pm for my 845pm flight. Success.
