We got up about our usual time, but instead of a lazy morning, we had coffee and a quick breakfast and walked down to the fishing walkway right down from our camp. We thought we would try this as we would not have to get into the car and drive anywhere.

... one there. It got pretty warm, so we stopped and went back to camp to clean up before going into Eureka for a bit.
At we were leaving camp, the horn sounded that they were getting ready to release water again.
We drove to EurekaSpring by way of Beaver so we could go over the bridge there. It is a beautiful, old, single lane structure.
After we got to Eureka Springs, we parked at the trolley parking lot and took it down into town.
Since Don had an appointment in Lowell today.. We got up and got ready to go to town for the day.
The appointment was for 10:00 so we left camp around 8:45 or so.
While he was at the appointment, I did a bit of shopping.
Finally done with appointment, we met Jen at Chilies for lunch. We had fajitas with enough left over for ...
Later in the afternoon we found thay had stopped generating at the dam and the river level had dropped....so we got our things and did a little fishing at the place right down from our camp. No bites, nibbles, or sighting of a trout!
But was nice nun the less.
Dinner tonight was grilled pork chops
and veggies with Qunioua.
It seems a bit warmer ...

This camping area is only about an hour from our house, but feels like being far away.
When we arrived, we found the had flood gates opened on the dam to release water from Beaver Lake. Pretty impressive sight seeing all that water cascading down the side of the dam.
