Another lovely sunny day and the gardens were very crowded, in the Gift Shop I even talked to another Australian lady who been dragged there by her friend she had never heard of them . She did come from Canberrra though.
Just came in from another day of sightseeing, first was a few hours at the Victoria Museum, mostly spent looking the natural history section. Some excellent dioramas showing the birds, trees and animals in ...

... In the end I chose one which I liked best, nice Canadian colours too, red and white! I went to pay and always forget about the tax being added on, which added around $2.50 extra. But I was happy with my purchase.

After walking around for a while, we headed off back to the house as it was almost tea time. It was lovely being in an actual 'home' though, rather than hostels, as we can cook our own meals and just chill when we want too. We cut the food up for our ...

... we’d been promising the starving hordes that lunch was to be had on the island but we didn’t find a place until 3pm – I really don’t know how they managed to survive that long without collapsing from hunger! When you’re hungry food always tastes better than usual and Sam loved his fish and chips, Matt and Mase had burgers and Jo and I had chicken tacos (whilst viewing ice hockey on screen). Canadians love their ice hockey.
