On November 11, 2014, we will be leaving Holland, MI and going to Bluefields, Nicaragua to stay for 7 weeks with our friends, RCA missionaries Adrian and Bernardeth Kelly-Bobb. Adrian is a pastor and Bernardeth is a medical doctor. We will be helping in their daily feeding program for 120 children that live in the slums of Bluefields. ... that tomorrow I can attend the Country Living Fair that's sponsored by "Country Living Magazine."

Our plan is to arrive in Virginia by Sunday. First up, Historic Jamestowne, the actual site of the landing of the first English-speaking settlement in the New World; followed by a visit to Jamestown Settlement, which is a living history museum of the people who lived there.

... of a lighthouse that I can't even get into. The rest of Holland is kind of a tourist trap. And I'm sure it is a whole lot nicer in the spring time when the tulips are in bloom. When I left the lighthouse area, I went to Windmill Island. It was $7.50 to get in. It was okay, a lot of the flowers were dead.
