    ... there was no standing water in the park, or along side the roads. Some of the fields were damp in low areas. Guess that is what having real dirt does after storms. Wish we had that kind of drainage in Florida.

    We drove down to the beach in South Haven. Lake Michigan is really very pretty.

    ... to get ice cream. We goofed off in our special way, and Daniel now makes me laugh more than ever. After Evan flirted with the girl at the ice cream counter, we headed down to the beach to finish out ice cream. The fog was extremely eerie and covered everything. It didn't even look like a beach.     ... completely uneventful, I did finish my book, which was quite good, and started a new one) we got home. We scavenged up food for dinner and then nestled into the couch to catch up on the DVRed episodes of one of my favorite shows, Catfish, and rub aloe lotion onto my sunburnt skin for a few hours.     ... t help it - they're hilarious!!! Although my family is freaking crazy, I love them to death. Just being out on the porch with everyone goofing around is one of the best feelings and my favorite part of the trip. I feel like these people more than anyone else understand and appreciate my humor, so that's always nice.
