      What a Difference a Week Makes!

      ... installed an outdoor thermometer for me; is trying to fix his leaky tap in our bedroom; and cleaned up his bike. Now he has gone to golf Saddlebrook again but it is too cool for me. I have done laundry in anticipation of his departure and caught up with administrivia.

      Next week it looks like it may be rainy - a good time for me to start working on the South Africa/Zimbabwe/Botswana trip. Everything is planned but I have to assemble it in one spot.

      It's a Sad Day for the Villages

      We had a spot of rain today - literally - and some cloud cover with intermittent blue skies. Our landscapers, C & K, came first thing this morning to trim our overgrown shrubs and the garden looks much better. Better them than us as I have not a clue about how to manage the species here.

      ... started working on the the new roof on Pat's house, along with her stepson, Larry, and I washed refrigerator drawers and shelves and filled the fridge with the food we had left in the guest house refrigerator at Pat's. Love the way the new fridge looks - and we're still working on learning the capabilities of it, storage-wise. (I think I might have over- shopped, although Greg's more than happy with his new beer shelf!)
