... For lunch, we went out to a nearby cafe. The food was great - so colourful. I had a pepper stuffed with rice and vegetables, in a tomato sauce, with tortillas. And we shared some sides of vegetables - really tasty! The neighbourhood was quiet, nice houses (all with a dog!) and hardly any traffic. Apparently it's a public holiday here today. ... was the morning.. Then to sample the salad bars. Definitely the best I have ever had, Italian style , as they termed it, A mix of beautifully presented , anti pasta such as olives, lettuce, shrimp, smoked salmon, gherkins,calamari, squid,. You name it and it was there. SoI sat in my splendid isolation
looking out over the pool area with a glass of Pinot Gris. All very civilised.
