      ... didn't, they would be on the first flight out the next day. (There are 4 flights daily between Houston and San Jose.) We weren't too worried; we could go a day without bags. Our man David, the manager of the hostel, offered to call the airline repeatedly the next day to check on our bags while we explored San Jose. We were just happy to have arrived in Costa Rica.       ... to keep it on line in order it hit the best rapids. It was still lots of fun. It wasn't crazy like when we went in Africa, everyone managed to stay in the boat but we still managed to get it stuck on a few rapids that flooded out our boat.
