... A busy day-Around noon we took laundry in, ran a few errands and drove to Middlesex Fells for a hike. It is a bit cool today, but the sky is blue. We walked about 3 ½ miles, some hills, and some level. Saw 2 snakes and a gray squirrel. We ate our tomato and cheese sandwich sitting on the rocks at one of the lakes, then continued on walking. I could have never guessed that we would not only get to meet the owner of the yacht that we had earlier admired, but that he and his entire family would be such a joy to spend over an hour with on a stormy afternoon. Had this 'inconvenience' not happened, we would have missed out on the best part of our day. I already try to look at delays as part of God's plan. This just confirms that I need to also be looking for what God is doing during the delay.

A bit of a change from their usual presentation and it was good but not as good as it should have been, but still a great experience! We went to a home show and enjoyed wandering around, dinner afterwards. Had a book signing here at the condo and sold 8 books. Doris, next door, had this at her place and about 20 people attended. ... we all had a good time! I drove home from there—through Boston and all the traffic but did fine. Here we enjoyed a wine and talking and off to bed early—a new adventure tomorrow! Sept 15th-Sat- Up at 6:30 to be at the Suffolk Down’s Race Track by nine to meet Maxie for a tour of the place. My new camera arrived and is charging. Good to have one again.
