... to say, a coffee at McDonalds at Athlone. Finally got to Galway (I snoozed in the car) and with Stephen's expert driving and navigation skills we found a spot called Salthill right on the bay with some of the most spectacular views ever. We wet our boot rims in the Atlantic and I took tons of photos -couldn't resist the light. Then we went up the street to a place called the Gourmet Tart co. to get something to eat. I had a goat's cheese and tomato tart with radish salad ...

Ate at Bdubs for our last meal in the US, had a salad in an attempt to go healthy. Also Trying to make Bryan learn French so we aren't completely lost in Paris. Hopefully the French are nicer than what we have heard, but if they have good coffee in sure I can assimilate. Oh and thank god for airport plugs! Leaving in the plane ...

... our room in the warm of the hotel lobby (I was also carrying one of our heavy carry on luggage so wasn't really feeling up to a big walk with that on my shoulder). On the way we passes 99c slice of pizza... Who could resist that, not us. And it was amazing! When we got back to our hotel (Hilton garden inn, Central Park south on W 54th st) the lobby was packed with a tour group, we could barely move so it ...
