... We finished the day at Island Video and Ice Cream located near the resort. Nothing of note here other than another tale of how strange my hippy homeschooled kids are. Quinn had a root beer float. The root beer came from a can which is given to the customer to pour into their float at their own leisure. After sitting down, Quinn got his mischievous/embarrassed/ashamed look on his face, looked up at us, and asked if ...

us. Though far out at sea, the outer bands of rain are reaching us and will
most likely be stronger through out the night and into Sunday
morning. We are to expect high surf (6 to 8') and beach erosion. It
looks like the hight of the ...

... five hours. Late in the afternoon, we walked down the beach to see the jetties. Elizabeth said it would be funny if I climbed onto the Danger Sign. I don't think her mother thought it was such a good idea. A big wave came and I got my precious fur all wet!
Our day at the beach was awesome! We ended the day with a little television and some hot, gooey chocolate chip cookies and cold milk. Yum!
