    ... morning I began my day of hours of walking, with the James Bay houses tour, which finished about midday. A university student on summer holidays with an obvious passion for the subject was a great way to appreciate the historic houses of the area. I learnt all about architectural detailing, and styles specific to the area, such as the Queen Anne and Arts and Crafts.
