At this point Kara and I broke away from Nate and Soon so they could visit with their friend while we went and did the tourist thing. We began our trek back to the waterfront and made our way over to the Parliament Building. The streets are lined with horse and carriages and it would've been a great way to see the city if we had more time.

... to be dog friendly; stopping at parks where dogs can hike, camping outside with us and, on a few occasions, in a dog friendly hotel.
We are just in the fine-tuning stage right now of our plans but are scheduled to leave the Island on July 28th. Without giving too many secrets away, we have planned some amazing hikes, meeting with friends and stops for delicious Canadian food along the way.

This is one of the iconic eating places in Victoria. They have a great selection of sandwiches, salads and soups to suit most tastes and budgets. We enjoyed a very nice lunch here with our friends.
Hudson Hot Yoga
... somewhat of an European touch with all its bars and pubs, as well as its British tea cafes. The buildings are old and look magnificent, the Parliament Building and the Emperor Hotel are dominating the inner harbor area. There are constantly boats leaving to and coming from some sea trip, as Victoria is famous for its marine life and water activities.
For the next morning I had planned to go on such a trip myself, whale watching! ...
