      ... The President Hotel. We have a HUGE room on the top floor, but no windows, only 2 skylights. If I stand on the top of the back of a chair I can just barely see the city. Later we met for the tour. We visited the labyrinth of the 4th century Diocletian’s Palace. What a fantastic place, and unimaginable that anything that size was completed in only 10 years. Just as she and I were ready to leave the wind picked up, and the rain POURED down, coming in around the window behind the bar and even some leaks from the roof – it was really bad there.       ... it nice. So I am done with the east side of the house. Tomorrow I will hose of the rest of the house and do the gutter on the other side. Since cutting the pine tree down should not have as large a problem in the future. Biked to post boxes for mail and to mail letters and then stopped in office to chat with Vicky.
