... lunch somewhere smack bang in the middle of state and met a couple of old lasses in the tourist centre (or center over here) who were mad about their Civil War history. They showed us some places to go and what to see. Before we headed for Civil War stuff, we took a detour along the 'Skyline Drive' which was a 15 mile stretch of road with something like 70 lookouts. ... My pictures are all from Lewes, where I stopped for a few hours in the late afternoon on the way from Dover, rather than Rehoboth. Lewes is a historic coastal town on the Delaware Bay side of Cape Henlopen, the Cape that faces Cape May, NJ on the other side of the entrance to Delaware Bay. Maybe it’s because the waves aren’t as big at the beaches on the bay or something, but Lewes doesn’t have the crowds of the Atlantic beach ...

10'x15'... the past 5 years, 2 bedrooms and 4 floors of our home is now crammed into a one cinder-block cell, the mail has been stopped (doubt I'll miss it) and tenants who will be kindly paying our mortgage for the next 12months are now moved in and we're officially "homeless".
Bethany Beach is where we'll be calling home for the next few weeks, until we jump out on the road at the end of July.

I could think of worse places to lay-low for awhile.
