      Magnificent Views

We spent two nights at the Sea Rock Inn in August 2004. The view from our room was over the cliff on the Pacific Ocean. Stunning. The room was a suite and quite lovely. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very nice and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed the B&B. Incredible views!

Wonderful Stay at Sea Rock Inn

It's about 3:00 Sea Rock time, just about the time we would be setting out for the cliff side to watch the sunset, but instead we're back to work Massachusetts time 3:00.

We had the best time and the Calif. Coast is so beautiful, you natives don't know how lucky you are to have all that beauty within driving distance.

We drove highway 1 all the way from San Francisco and what a lovely drive, but the view from your Inn was the best in Mendocino.

We will never forget all the friends we made, it always surprises me how friendly Californians are. The staff was the nicest ever and made our stay wonderful.

The gardens at the Inn are so lovely and the hummingbirds are right outside your door and that made us smile.

We will always treasure the time we spent at your Sea Rock Inn and can't wait until we return, and we will be sure to recommend you to any body planning a trip to your area, because it is a must see.

      Thank You,

      Jimmie and Linda

      (niece & aunt)

P.S We can't wait to see our pictures.

      Love this location, very relaxing

I loved the Sea Rock Inn. We stayed in 15B and just adored our room, our look out over our little deck, everything about this place. Wonderful breakfasts too and great coffee. The innkeepers are so nice and helpful! It is in a great location, short hike to town and the Headlands. We enjoyed dinner at Cafe Beaujolais and Sharons by the Sea (great sunset view). We walked out to Pt Cabrillo Lighthouse which was fun. We will definately be back here sometime again soon. I would stay only here in Mendocino. We looked at other locations while we were there just to check them out and this is BY FAR the best spot to stay!

Sea Rock Inn - Worth it!!

I just got back from 7 wonderful days at the Sea Rock Inn. Not only was the ocean view from my bed breathtaking but the service was great also. The towels were so soft I practically lost myself in them. We always had a fresh supply of firewood and the welcoming bottle of wine was a treat.I will return as soon as I can.

Amazing weekend! Just what I needed!

I recently took a 'weekend away' trip with a girlfriend of mine to the Sea Rock Bed and Breafast Inn. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and the amazing weather we lucked out with! The room and the view from it was wonderful and the feather bed was sooooo comfortable. Not only were we very impressed with the appearance and comfort of the rooms, inn and landscape... the staff was very welcoming, assistive and friendly! We will definitely go again!

      The ocean in perspective...

Set literally across the street from the ocean, the Sea Rock Inn takes great advantage of the natural beauty around it. The staff is genuinely friendly, the presentation is immaculate, and the sheer craftmanship of (and breathtaking views from) the rooms are just a few qualities that made my stay at the Sea Rock so lovely. It is conveniently located within Mendocino - just a walk to the headlands and downtown.

      Guaranteed: you'll love it.

Relaxed and refreshed after our stay at Sea Rock

We arrived to cool temperatures and a warm and inviting cottage. During our stay the weather was more agreeable to the weekend events of whale watching and wine tasting. We loved the views from our deck and the benches on the cliff side. The full moon was beautiful, sparkeling on the ocean waves that could be seen from our cottage at night. We will have these memories to cherrish and look forward to a return visit.

      Beautiful place, beautiful view

We came to Sea Rock for the Whale Festival Weekend. The weather was glorious and our stay at Sea Rock Inn was beyond compare. We will surely tell all our friends and relatives.

      What a view!

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation from the moment we arrived. The staff was cheerful and informative. The room was spotless and the attention to detail was great. The robes were cozy and the Husch wine was a perfect touch to watch the sun set from our deck. Thank you Sea Rock Inn for a perfect weekend. We'll be back soon!

      LOVED it!!

We spent a week at The Sea Rock for my brother's wedding and I have to say that the Sea Rock Inn made our experience an unbelievable one. The room was beautifully furninshed with gorgeous beds and down comforters, a large porch with a spectacular view. You step right out of yur room and cross the road and have the most amazing view, you are standing on a cliff looking over the ocean. Breakfast every morning was wonderful.

I cvouldn't recommend the Inn anymore. I tell everyone about it, it was by far the most relaxing vacation I have ever had and the Inn was one of the greatest places I have ever stayed.

Leaving the slum, then to Caspar (camping)

I've never been so happy to leave a hotel. This place was a DUMP.

We stopped by Point Reyes national park for some (more) good views, but mostly just enjoyed the scenery along route 1.

The dogs are doing well, as is the camper. We're happy Caspar is getting the help he needs, but sad to see him go.

We found a neat campsite with a beautiful ocean view (Caspar beach rv park), and settled for the night. Campfire w/ BBQ and beer. Life is good.

... and all matter of flora and fauna. We then took the gondola to the top of the mountain. The redwoods were a "must see" for Laurie, and one of the main things she wanted to do. She was in awe of the trees, and wandered around like a little kid all agog. It actually makes me very happy to see how much she enjoyed it. I liked it, but I loved seeing her so excited even more.

From here, we hit another one of those long ...

Got on the road by 10:30 and took the most direct route up and around the San Francisco area. We took 101N to 580/80 through Berkeley/Oakland and after crossing the bridge and near Santa Rosa back onto 101 to 128 and then back to 1.

Even though it was a Sunday the traffic was not as bad as thought it could have been except for the brief period going through Berkeley. Once we got on Hwy 128 it was so very beautiful. The ...

... as well. They need it to thrive. So we didn't see as much of the coast as we could have done, but the fog is very common in this area. Eventually arrived at our destination The Brewery Gulch Inn. This is about a mile from the town of Mendocino (pronounced MendoSino). But locals call the town 'Spendocino' - as it's a rather expensive tourist spot. We have 2 nights here and some respite from driving tomorrow. ...
