I had a good day in Antwerp, although it was cold and overcast for most of the day.
Marriages are conducted on Saturdays at the Town Hall in Grote Markt and I was fortunate to see a newly-wed couple posing for photos near the fountain. It is lovely that same-sex marriage is legal in Belgium, as in a lot of European states :).

... Arriving in Amsterdam we found some Brits sharing our room and put all our tourist spirit together to hit the town. The red-light district simply lights up the streets glowingly at night. Amsterdam was filled with more shopping (thank you Abercrombie and Fitch for the eye-candy) and sight-seeing; the iAmsterdam sign, canals, hole in the wall food, and the amazing thrift-stores. We wanted to visit the old church but its 5euro entry fee and what we could see from the entrance(pretty similar church to the ones in Delft) acted as a deterrent and so we walked through the Grote Markt and then to the port where we even discovered an interesting castle with a nice view of the water.
