    Arrived at Victoria airport late night but had two smiling people waiting for me at the pick up! Mum and frank waiting patiently for me we collected my luggage and off we went home! The next day I started my painting job which was the whole downstairs walls and roof! A big job but thought I would be able to do it in a. Few days! Oh I was WAYY off I do look up to painters now and know that i myself couldn't be a painter!! I had to fill in all the holes in the wall then sand it back ...

    ... back in credit in the satisfaction stakes, we walked back over to the harbour (the taxis had stopped for the night), across the Blue Bridge (a very imposing industrial bridge painted very blue, hence the name), which delivered us straight into the arms of The Swan pub, which was playing live music and is a brewpub!     ... and their families and we are so grateful for them. I had scheduled the internet to go back on Friday so we had that and should have our limited cable back today. 17 states, 5 provinces and just over 19,000 km. and we are back home for a while at least. That makes just over 30,000 km. in two big trips in the past 9 months that my wonderful husband has driven and that Harvey has handled. Wow!!!!
