... boat thing, taking tea in Murchie's Tea House, and visiting Munro Books which it turns out was started by Alice Munro and her husband. The hippo people told us (thankfully after we had completed the water portion of the tour) that the vehicle we were travelling in was an ex school bus with floatation devices added. It sounded very much like something built by Clarkson, Hammond and May but it thankfully did not sink and I'm still here to blog, behind as I ...

... perhaps you'll be able to identify them!) led us to the rose gardens, set in a gigantic circle, with at least a hundred varieties on show. After a little search, we descended into the tranquil Japanese gardens. Having travelled to Kyoto and seen the beautiful gardens in the hill side temple area, I have to tell you that it rivalled them in beauty, if not in scale. ... normal; ">This morning, pancakes with blueberries, yummie! Talking and having a nice breakfast, with her and Greg then, by the time we decided to do the walk, it was noon! Annie made delicious sandwiches, and off we went to Mount Douglas Park. The sun was shining through the huge fir trees, so beautiful! We didn't see deer, only some squirrels. At the top, we ate our sandwiches (cheese, avocado, salad, garlic, and some oranges and carrots ...
