It seems like two months is about the limit for staying in one place any more.
Today we are eastbound on the NY thruway and the Mass Pike, bound for Colm and Judy's house on Cape Cod.

A lot of the
homes have great character, being built with shingles, something that is not
seen back home. As the shingles age
they transgress from the blond wood look to become silver/grey. Well I have to say that most of the homes in
the USA are of timber exterior walls compared to our brick veneer homes.

There is a bike shop there, Barb's Bike Shop and several not that attractive strip malls, with stores like Dunkin’ Donuts, Marshalls, and a Stop&Shop. Not really charming quintessential Cape Cod.
