Atlantic City was the last stop on our loop back to fly out from New York. We stayed the night at a Casino Hotel.....weird place!
The morning was spent down on the boardwalk and beach. A tractor type machine rakes the beach to clear the debris of the night before.
It's been about 10 years since I last visited my aunt Heather and uncle Roger in Cape May. I arrived just before the start of the tourist season, so it was nice and quiet (but a little chillier than any of us liked!). We started out the day at George's for some amazing breakfast (french toast with lemon greek yogurt? Yes, please!) and meandered through the shops on Washington Street.

The weekend after we got back from Barbados was a long weekend. So far we have only been away once over a long week-end either due to Matt's work or because they sort of snuck up on us. We looked at exploring areas north of New York but as we left it a bit late accommodation was a bit limited and car rental expensive so we decided to visit Atlantic City – a 2-hour bus ride away and we could book a hotel on Matt’s points!

... ton of cheeses which was great. We also went to the Maple Works place for maple syrup tasting and to buy some jugs. We saw a few covered bridges this day (Gold Brook, Fisher and Foster). We came back through the town of Stowe but didn't really do anything there. After a much needed shower we went to Hen of the Woods for a fantastic dinner. What a beautiful place. One of the top restaurants on the trip and just a nice place. NOTE: Waterfall ...
... I want to go on a plane real bad and fly and look at the clouds and stuff.
Dustin: Not on this trip, this is a road trip.
Luke: So if we take a plane, it will be a plane trip and we can fly and look at the clouds and stuff.
Dustin: Anything else?
Luke: South America...and North America.
Dustin: Well, we'll be in North America...that's the United States and Canada.
