... we are safer in marinas. We have almost sailed 3000 miles since we left the Hamble on the 26th May and now feel quite at home on Isabella. She continues to impress, handling the big winds and rolly seas with ease.

When we arrived yesterday we were approached by a young lady offering a trip to Agrigento to see the Greek temples. A taxi and guide would be provided and we could leave any time we wanted......how much would this cost ...

... they were all filled with water. Local people on the stairs looked very sad and we fear they had to cancel the activity that was planned for the evening.

Back to Agrigento for a few refreshing moments in the pool and then diner in the same place again with the artists. Interesting conversations about figurative and non-figurative art and how the art scene works in Belgium. So, again it was late an no time left for Blogging.

... 100 metres during the biking trip. The guides made it very spectacular. You ar not allowed in the small streets, the main gates are closed but it is easy to get around those etc. It is a sad story, because during the earthquake the entire village was destroyed and left in that state and a new village was build a few kilometers aside. The village itself is still standing there without being touched ever since.

This time we found the place, but the gate was closed ...

... main business was weapons, drugs, black markets thy are now moving into illegal immigrants.

Drove past vineyards (marsala wine), fig trees & cactus/prickly pears (liquor, jam, marmalade), around Trapani to Isole dello Stragnone (island of Stragnone), to a salt mine & watched a video of the processing of salt, manual process even cover with clay tiles to keep dry. Start stocking the lagoon in April for harvest in July. Stopped in Marsala, walked up ...

    ... a really good view.

It was really fun climbing all around.

When we got home we went to the swimming pool.

And it was super fun but we had to buy swimming caps.

I don't know why but it is the most dumbest idea ever I think.

But over all we had so much fun in the pool. I think we were in there for about 2 hours.
