Visiting this house reminded me I could live anywhere as long as there was water. I also felt very comfortable in the isolation of its location. I am sure many others feel the same. It is designed in and out with harmony, embracing ones needs but embracing the land. It is simple, not extreme. I never thought I would describe a house as "incredible" but it is.
I am very thankful for this experience. We all are.
... want to interrupt the spirits! The Inn has hosted many dignitaries and weary travellers over its many years. The interior is very Victorian, the walls laden with photos illustrating its history.
Night has fallen, we will too fall into our beds if we could. It takes a running leap to get on top of them by the way. No internet service holds this blog back. No photos today either, just wasn't one of those days, but look out tomorrow.

None of us were happy to have our fun week at the Valle Cruces Overlook end, but we manned up and hopped in our cars at 6:30 am to head home (by way of detour). ... which was fantastic. We saw the Apollo 11 landing module, touched some moon rock and saw the actual Wright Brothers plane! There were many other highlights which were too many to mention. Considering it was free to enter we couldn't have asked for more. We also popped in briefly to the natural history museum, and looked at the Hope Diamond, the largest in the world. After this we had a healthy lunch of houmous, pretzel pieces and pizza flavoured ...
... so beautiful. It was very different from what I had pictured but it exceeded my expectations. It was also exciting to be there since famous people like Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, and rumoured Albert Einstein had stayed there before as well.
