It's Billy's Birthday!!!!! My gorgeous man is now 30!! Yay! He is officially old lol!! To celebrate his exit from his glorious 20s I planned a tour of all your 7mate reality shows including, Pawn Stars, Counting Choppers and Tanked. We went to all the stores and met a few of the guys on the shows, we also went to the stores of some of Rick's 'Buddies' that he calls in to value the old toys and sports memorabilia. ... of the day's events we enjoyed our last afternoon here at Beaver Creek with a visit to the beautuful chapel situated adjacent to our hotel. A multi denominational chapel it is constructed of stone and glass and is set against the beautiful backdrop of the mountains.
A final wander around the Beaver Creek village and our time here was complete. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and most certainly would love to come back.
Back to do it all again! Men's Super G on the difficult Birds of Prey Course at Beaver Creek.
Super G is like downhill but with a few more gates that the skier has to pass through. Unlike downhill though they do not get any training runs on the actual course only a course inspection an hour or so before the start time. This adds to the challenge for the skier and excitement for the spectators as sometimes it all goes horribly ...
... as we made our way up the the newly built Red Tail Stadium at Beaver Creek. What a stunning view we had not just of the course but the surrounding mountains as well. The course was in perfect condition and the view from the stadium was great we we were able to see a large portion of the downhill run. There was a huge giant screen as well so that we could see the action close up as well.

... of very nice and expensive restaurants but not too many casual eating establishments. The Coyote Cafe is a stones throw from the Centennial lift at the base of the mountain. Mexican/burger standards along with an impressive array of beers. The service is quick and efficient. In the background you see a continuous reel of videos of extreme skiing. They are interesting to watch but make me feel rather inadequate as a skier! We have had dinner the last two nights at ...
