After an hour and a half on the beach people watching and tanning we decided to head over the road to an upstairs restaurant. Kirsty enjoyed a Malibu cocktail and we sat for a while basking the sun and enjoying bruschetta and the wifi.

From here we traveled down in Santa Monica to find a place to stay that night. It was huge and we were a bit overwhelmed so we parked ...

One hall is dedicated to rotating exhibits and they are currently showing stained-glass windows which are temporarily removed from Canterbury Cathedral, and an illuminated manuscript that is being studied at their research institute. Pretty impressive! You can check out The Getty online.
