... to worry and sent me many texts saying if I didn't find them he was totally screwed! But no worries, I got sandwiches, found them, and we were off! It was an uneventful trip and were we hopping off in Lucca! I had a map printed of how to get to our B and B, but no worries, it was easy! Just inside the walls... Lucca still has its entire wall intact, one of the only places not bombed out in WWII. We arrived at il seminario, checked in, got settled ...
... or maybe some people to meet in Lucca next year. Either way or anyway, it's just awesome to meet people from different parts of the world.
We all parted company at 11pm after having had beautiful food and wine, lovely company and great conversation. It was raining and quiet when we stepped outside the restaurant, so we all put up our umbrellas and parted company for our own little pads. All is good!!

Lucca is famous for, amongst other reasons, its intact Renaissance-era city walls which surround the old city, outside the walls is a sea of grass.
It's very beautiful, peaceful, and lacking the maddening crowds of Florence.
