... Farrell. Albeit fine wineries their offerings were not quite as idyllic as the acclaimed Macrostie varietals. Thanks again to Steph who took one for the team as our designated driver. ... Francisco bay, we headed to the next town, Larkspur for the Saturday night vigil Mass. The little church was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the music was fantastic. A very special experience.

Mum found an interesting restaurant for dinner - Avatar, which served Indian fusion cuisine. Actually it was Indian curries wrapped and served like Mexican burritos. Delicious. Hopefully, Mum will try this at ...

Holliday performed in the local clubs to an audience of stars such as Joe Louis, Marilyn Monroe, Clint Eastwood and Sammy Davis, Jr. At the legendary Jimbo's, Louis Armstrong went to check out Charlie Parker (the only known time they were under the same roof). ... lie off the tee on some of the par 4's & 5's. A slight fade haunted me off the tee today however the links design allowed for errors which I capitalised on recording a creditable 93 off the stick. No wind (well not quite), cloudless skies and a course in very good knick all made for a very enjoyable outing. Despite the infrequent Spaulding Smails-like outbursts my playing parters welcomed me back to pay their beloved Adobe Creek; an offer I will be sure to accept. ...
