... about thirty minutes – guess a early check in is not necessary here! Eventually checked in and was enjoying a cup of coffee while hearing a few intelligible announcements on the PA. Probably would be easier to hear if he just stood in the middle and shouted. I finally understood one "Passenger Thomas flying to Edinburgh, please come to the baggage reclamation area. We arrived in Edinburgh at 5pm at a beautiful hotel The Raddison Blu in The a Golden Mile in close walking proximity to The Castle. We were quick to sample some local produce and catch up on some housekeeping in readiness for a relaxing night and half day tour tomorrow before our exciting ...

... next stop was over to the Elephant House Cafe - apparently this is where JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter. It was nice to stop for a coffee and get out of the rain for a bit, but the cafe also had a really cool atmosphere. After the coffee break, we decided to head over to the Edinburgh dungeon for a scary dungeon tour. That was quite the experience. There were probably around 10 of us going through the tour with random creatures constantly popping out at us. At one point, we got put onto ...
