      ... They had a section for each regiment with a book for those that had died in the First World War and a book for the Second World War and since that could you look through. It was peaceful, beautifully done but a pervading sadness with all those people who had died in the wars but a great place for those who had lost someone showing that their loved ones lives were remembered and had not died in vain.       ... one guide was trying to prove that a lot of the literature was written in the surrounding pubs and each person was quite the drinker. The second guide took the educational perspective. It was impressive. Apparently they do the tour with older groups and then incorporate having a few "pops" along the way in the various pubs. For supper we ate at a place called 1780.
