... with a host family and I will be able to take marine science courses while I am away as well as a cuisine class. I never knew how much planning it would take to prepare to live in another country for half a year and I have yet to pack my suitcase (which I am not sure how I will be able to fit everything I need into a suitcase for 5 months). Now I am being hit with the excitement and the fact that this is actually happening. Costa Rica here I come!

Visited Whole Foods. Took a trip down the halls of PDS (far too nice), and then hung out at his house. We went to a Charlotte Knights game with his mom (his dad wasn't feeling well), which was super fun. Then we got dinner at a place with great biscuits, and just hung out some ...

... s. I’ve never been to anything like it. First of all, they are open 24/7! They bake all their own stuff, which is beautiful. They also have a lounge with a hipster coffee shop vibe, and the entire thing is decorated in French Quarter Bordelo Chic. Very cool! Seriously, 24/7 bakery? I’m in! Matt and I were too full to get anything, but Amanda, who is 38 weeks pregnant, could not resist the lure of the ...
