We finished our last locks of the trip! Yahoo!
We stayed at the Troy public docks and walked the city area. It was hopping with many people beginning their weekend celebrations and lots of outdoor restaurants were full of diners enjoying the warm summer night.

... But, we survived!

Got to very picturesque Bennington, VT at about 1545 hours. Sunny and nice out. Beautiful day all around. Had about 2 seconds worth of sprinkles near Rochester, NY, but that was it!

Off to Ramunto's Pizza and Pub for an early dinner, since we did not stop for lunch.

547 miles for me today, on about 2 hours of sleep. Road weary for sure!

... in class and would stuff animals into it and other toys, sometimes with long pauses between and then occasionally throw the toys at other kids. They assumed it was an obsessive behaviour, the pauses were processing gaps, he was incapable of imagined play and at times prone to aggression to his classmates. His report card said as much and spoke in the negatives of what he couldn't do. When he became verbal it transpired that this young man's mum was an English Teacher ...

... closed so stopped at the Chocolate Barn. Best fudge we've ever had. It was made with brown sugar and walnuts and had a flavor similar to tablet (a Scottish fudge my grandmother used to make). Went to Bennington battle monument where there was a revolutionary war with the Americans and the British. Stopped for some groceries then back to camp for a nice dinner and yes...................too much wine!

Though the “activists” were out front with their posters full of misinformation and blatant lies, they had no effect on our shows.
