... We started chatting about our trips, he was just entering day one for an unknown length of time. We chatted about Indonesia and his home in the UK. As we passed through customs, he asked how I was getting to my hotel, if I would be interested in splitting a cab, since we were staying fairly close to each other. Why not? When the cab wouldn't allow us to make two stops, he then asked if I would be interested in joining him for dinner. Company for dinner sounded really nice. ...

... with Kayun Hostel Downtown. It's new and very expensive ($19 a night for a dorm bed!), but had easy airport pickup ($5), is really clean, has good internet, a whirlpool, good security and very friendly staff. It is definitely more than I would normally spend on a hostel, but for the peace of mind it is worth it.

... Bali told me to take the blue cabs, however I was harassed by so many cab drivers that I just went with one. He had a badge but the car didn't say taxi, my mind started to race thinking of kidnapping etc! Luckily, he was really nice, pointing me out places as we drove and drove em safely to my hotel!
