If you live in the south, you never get snow, you don't even expect it! When the rare time comes around that you ACTUALLY get snow, all hell breaks loose! After circling the city and seeing the Capitol building and the University, we headed to the original Whole Foods where the girls had dim sum and pizza, Tad had a burrito and I had a Thai chicken curry bowl. We hit the bookstore next door to purchase a road atlas and tour books on New Orleans and Florida. Round Rock, Texas – though this stop felt like a "fly-by", it was well worth the couple of days. Normally, as we traverse through Texas we are stopping for a nearly a week or more at each stop, this stop was only three days…. should have been two weeks! Our best way to describe this area is via the several small Texas towns that we discovered. Of course we never made it to Luckenbach, Texas, but that's another chapter. ...
