My mom and I went for a drive along the Hakusan Super Rindo Forest Road. In fact, because the toll for the road was quite expensive, I stayed away from the drive way for a long time. However, I heard that you could get a discount only in July and August, and that seemed to be a good chance to try it. Incidentally, the road is popular in the season of autumn leaf viewing, but the toll is not discounted rate.

... Tea Ceremony, and i was the only one in our group to dress in a kimono. I wanted to experience more, and be more immersed in the culture.

Oh! And the toilets! Squatting over the toilets was a blast of course, but the weirdest part was the washroom at a restaurant (?). I had to walk into the men's washroom, past men peeing in urinals, to get to the women's washroom. Now how bizarre is that?

We didn't have much time and we missed going to the famous temple that was established in 1244.
