Amalie arena is very nice ....holds over 19000 people and we weren't surprised to see a terrific show of red jerseys on the streets prior to game time. Also, we were treated to a performance of an Irish band just outside the doors
Gametime- the fans around us were a mix of hometown and many québécois Canadians ...all in good spirits..We sat up in the third tier ...

There were flamingos and feral pigs too but sadly no pictures. The lightening storm hit a tree in the pasture and set it on fire (not the tallest thing in the area), lightening hit the tree by the house and also a transformer plus two cows tragically lost their lives from being struck. Massive flooding and no power. It is always lively on the ranch. I caught 19 fish in one day! Lithia Springs was awesome ...

It remained hot, hot, hot so we did not do much outdoors other than an early walk BUT, sitting in the air conditioning with a huge front window that looks out on the beautiful woods is not a bad way to spend the afternoon.
