... straight to the door. It looks like the Dunedin railway station times about four, with Moorish minarets. It had one of the first American golf courses. Mr Plant had to bring over a genuine Scotsman to teach visitors how to do it. There was also lots of wildlife to hunt - the record was 500 birds in one outing and they had to put a 'no shooting' sign on the balcony so people didn't shoot from their rocking chairs. Allie woke us up at 8:00 so were somewhat behind. We had checked out, had breakfast and were headed to Tampa by 9:15. Sherri misplaced her glasses (I don't think I mentioned in yesterday's blog that Harold stepped on them Sunday night.) Anyway, She found them in her bag on the way to Tampa.

There were flamingos and feral pigs too but sadly no pictures. The lightening storm hit a tree in the pasture and set it on fire (not the tallest thing in the area), lightening hit the tree by the house and also a transformer plus two cows tragically lost their lives from being struck. Massive flooding and no power. It is always lively on the ranch. I caught 19 fish in one day! Lithia Springs was awesome ...
