... a kayaker was paddling as fast as they could to get close to them. They tried taking pictures and did get quite near to the dolphins. A second smaller pod was following them too. What a lovely sunset. I thought we had met the noisiest family when camping in Colorado - but no! Noisy, noisy family opposite us. ... 1.98 per gallon. I was amazed to see fields and fields of cotton trees! That was a first. We stopped for pulled pork for lunch at a cute road side restaurant and kept going and going until Pensacola, Florida and stopped at a hotel in Golf Breeze. ... good it would actually be. I didn't count how many planes were on display, hanging from the ceiling or at ground level but there were many. We went to the IMAX theatre screening of the D-Day movie (there were four different films on offer throughout the day) which was really moving, checked out the three simulators, went to the 1941 retro street of houses and shops, ate at the restaurant and at the end of the day found we had missed a couple of really interesting ...

... everything we saw - the white sandy beaches and the wooden clad bars. Each day was fun packed starting with a morning workout in their garage, courtesy of Heather who put us through our paces with exercises that we hadn't been accustomed to for a while. This routine was a good addition as we ate a lot of fried food and drank a lot of beer during our stay so it kept us alive!
