... England. We also went to one of Anne of Cleves' houses, who was one of Henry the VIII's wives.
Wednesday: We went for two walks on the South Downs.
Thursday: We went to Butser Ancient Farm, a farm where they do everything like Stone/Iron/Roman age people would. The we went to an outside house museum, where they were showcasing houses from the 15-1800s.

... right next to our hotel. He stumbled back in around 2 am. As such, while I am writing this feeling quite fine if a little fuzzy, and am enjoying the wonderful morning, he is snoring contently in the background. I suspect he will have a proper hang over this morning.

Overall, I had a wonderful birthday!!!!! It has been quite special. I do so wish, this hotel room was my apartment though. What a view to wake up to. Really love ...

And the best place to get a decent brekky in Brighton? It's got to be Breakfast At Tiffany's on North Road. You can get one of their sets for 4.95 and it's guaranteed to shorten your lifespan by approximately 3 and a half minutes.

The final morning before I headed off to Bestival consisted of simply running round the streets of Brighton searching for gumboots (or Wellies as the Brits call them) and a doona for the festival but unfortunately I only came away with the doona before having to run back, pack my things and then heading to the train station with the next stop being Portsmouth Harbour Station where I would meet Paul and Alex.
