    ... couldn't raise enough oomph to go then. So today we made the effort to go to the Indiana community which is approx 20 miles from the hotel we stayed at, in a little town called Nappanee.

    ... t super difficult occasionally a train coming in the opposite direction would startle me. Sometimes the sway of the car would seem to abruptly change direction which would heighten my awareness, but overall it was a good rest when you consider you are in a moving vehicle.     ... home, and life in the Philippines is most definitely chaotic but the pace of life can never compare. I love my relaxed, timeless schedule and mindset in the Philippines, but whenever I come home it seems it is a few weeks of bookings...filled with reuniting, celebrating, appreciating, catching up, eating, laughing, sharing stories, and remembering what home is all about :)

    ... of how the railroads, then and now, have made such a great an impact of the country's past, present and future.

    A real highlight of the visit was the working, multi-train O Gauge model railroad layout. Awesome!
    Mike and I were like a couple of kids.

    All in all, it was a great day at the museum.
