... was dismantled and shipped from France to Texas and reassembled in Castroville. It looks like a storybook house from times past. The 400 year old heavy timber framework of the house was re-erected in 1998 and the following year brick and mortar were added to enclose the framework. ... and had been for a while. So we'll have to get that fixed. But it is a minor thing and apparently evidence of poor workmanship. We visited with Richey's and Gordon's for a while then Ronny & Linda arrived. Their coach is still in the shop, but it's supposed to be completed on Wednesday so that's when they will be arriving. ... dropping. Got down to 27 degrees that night. The views were awesome tho. The place was the start of the Texas Hill Country and we had a spectacular sight of about 10 miles of it.

Bailey (family dog), seemed intuitive to us going, as he laid outside and watched us pack the car A family farewell at 8am this morning and we were on our way - Our Mustang absolutely packed to the roof.

I expected a lot from Qantas food wise since they are not a budget airline. For lunch I had a potato and chicken salad with mousse and fruit which was nice enough. A few hours later they came through with Cadbury hot chocolate and marshmallows which was a nice treat and then midway through the night they came around with mini pizzas which were good too.
