... The scenery is beautiful! There are tons of pine trees and every now an then you will get a view of a huge wetland or Lake Michigan.

Last night it rained all night and it is still drizzling this morning. We are going to go to Seney National Wildlife Refuge and then making our way to a campground near Porcupine Mountain State Park.

Heading back east in the U.P. we followed Route 2 across the southern part of the U.P. The road becomes fairly isolated not far outside Iron Mountain and we saw three eagles in a 10 mile stretch. ... we picked up Dietmar! We were really excited to see him and we Like to think he was excited to see us too! Just kidding we know he was! The next thing to do was drive to the campground that was just before the bridge to the UP! We didn't even hookup because it was so late when we got there.
