Of course the wind did not co-operate and as soon as we were heading up the Delaware river it switched more west and was once again just out of sailing range. We were not going to get the speed we wanted and we realized we were not going to make it to our planned anchorage until close to 10 pm, so we looked for another place to stop instead. ... there when you know where to look and have some binoculars. Met 3 different couples on the boat who had been to NZ last year and know more about our birds than we did.

Monday: We headed off for 2 nights at the Seaview golf resort for George to have a golf and car fix.

The trip to the Niagara Falls has been abandoned and we'll go to Cape Cod via the Hamptons (Long Island) instead.

This morning, woke up at 7:00am and Legend was ready to go outside. Beautiful brisk morning. I have on pants and jacket. The sun feels good! Legend is getting used to going to the bathroom with cars buzzing by on the highway. Jess and I spent some time today at the outlet mall next to the hotel browsing.
