... few days before me and our counsellors arrived the day after, all 22 of them, and we jumped into staff training. To make things harder, the beautiful mountains that surrounded us were intent of keeping the clouds around and it rained for most of the first 6 weeks of camp. My last day in Vancouver was spent running last minute errands and having a walk around Gastown. They have a store called Army and Navy which is like Cheaps as Chips and instead of going to the movies, I bought a few cheap ones. The one I watched was called The Good Night and was perhaps the most bizarre movie I have ever seen! I was going to get an early night, but after nacho salad for dinner, having a few beers and watching Kick Ass I didn't get to bed until 1am. I said my goodbyes ...
... then decided to get some lunch. We didn't really have much choice in what we were eating as every shop was fish and chips. We did manage to find one place that also did salads though so I agreed we could eat in there. Peter had fresh cod and fries which looked so delicious even I had a taste of it.
