... in 1946 and has been a diner since then. So after a nice lunch of burgers, bacon & eggs, good meals but not large meals. In fact Chloe & Ian shared a meal because we wanted to make sure we left room for desert, for the main reason to visit this diner, it's pies, as in desert pies. ... Upon closer inspection we saw that the expiry dates were up to two years ago - no wonder we hadn't been charged full price for the items! A little further up the road we cam across a diner - Fat Jacks - and parents overruled for a stop. Wow, we had stumbled across a real gem, homemade food, salads, beer - pleasant staff - saved us from eating out of date food!, Arrived at our accommodation eventually, another change of style. We were staying in an old house - 150 years ...

... Kaya and I walked through all the exhibits and the stalls. By three o'clock, I was scheduled to work at the ice cream booth scooping ice cream! We were scheduled from 3-7,and as I walked into the booth, it just started to drizzle! What a way to dampen the mood! :) it was so daunting at first getting used to all the different things that needed to be done! We had to scoop like 10+ flavours of ice cream, 3 flavours of soft serve, sundaes, milk shakes, ...
