    Up at the crack of dawn to drive to the passport office in Surrey to request our emergency passports. Not an original idea to be there before it opens...we learn as we are standing there with 30 other " early birds". But within about an hour we are off to enjoy the city with forms done...and the hope of picking up our new passports at 10 am Tuesday. we went to Granville Island , finally, ...

    ... So, since they got here so late, we invited them to use our BBQ to make their supper and so we all ate together and had a really good visit and got to compare travel stories...and then sent them on their way around 7:30. They had to get to their own campsite and set up and it's another half hour or so further down the road. Needless to say, Nate and I didn't get out on the quad tonight as it gets dark pretty early here. Tomorrow we move on to Delta, BC...and more ...
