The day started well with a 5€ breakfast at a cafe in Santhia. The Spanish/Brazilian couple had taken their kit out of the room the night before so as not to wake me and I didn't wake until 8.15. Almost civilised. With the leisurely breakfast I didn't leave town until about 9.45. Plenty of time for a flat day. And the day went fine. Lovely and sunny again, no problems. Yesterday and today ...
... and I biked it at about the same speed . . Not good! Finally, we asked a really nice trash man how to get to Superga and he pointed to the opposite direction! :-(. Oh well . We get extra credit for an extra hill! Finally got to the Basilica Di Superga - a beautiful basilica situated way high above the city of Turin. Lots of climbing to get us there! Dessert was this amazing chocolate torte thing - which I had no trouble finishing! Just a typical meal on a ...
... in Torino . The building is 50 stories tall. 550 feet. When we got off the elevator, the view was breath taking! You could see all of Turin. We took lots of pictures then came down and went to have our last lunch in Italy. Stopped at a little cafe, and I had my last prosciutto and cheese panini . We then went to find Grom to have our last gelato in ...
