Made it from Fairfield North Carolina to Ocala Florida. Pretty pooped but the hotel has a pool and we stretched out for a bit listening to the cars on the highway roar past. But, we're in shorts and in Florida. Ocala, in the central part of the state boasts the Ocala National Forest and from what we can see not too much else. ... Squad/Magnolia ladies they sent out to us for advice last Sunday after we played a round of Executive Golf at Walnut Grove. It was just Richard and I and I am pleased to say I was not half bad with my half price demonstrator clubs. After Richard treated me to some half priced shorts and capris at the Lopez shop. Today we celebrated another first - feeding the turtles, fish and gulls at Lake Sumter. Heather had brought to our attention it was done so, despite the signs saying "Do not feed the alligators", we let Michael feed away. We believe that the alligators have been removed from the Villages as Richard has not seen any on the golf courses, nor anywhere else.
