Odometer reading: 18,445 miles Two days to go!

It was a challenge, but I think we got 'er done! Thanks to some helpful hints from fellow travelers (and the internet!) we were able to fit clothes for both of us for at least 7 days on the road. We've got about 12 1-gallon Ziploc bags each with a shirt, underwear, and socks for each of us, plus a spare pair of shoes and jeans. That's it.

... is our first official stop. We were greeted at the door by very enthusiastic couple of volunteers Kathy and Bud. We arrived just before 4 and they shut at 5 so Bud cut us a deal and charged us half price $3 each.
